5.28.2023 "Surprised by Hope: The Redemption of our Bodies"

This week, Pastor Aaron's sermon was based on 1 Corinthians 15, which again, emphasizes the centrality of Jesus' resurrection for our Christian faith. Without the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, there is no Christianity. But, in fact, Jesus has been raised from the dead - the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. 

This means, that we will rise from the dead. Our bodies will rise from the dead. Physical matter matters to God. The goal of Christianity is not to escape our physical bodies and go be a spirit-being forever. The goal of Christianity is that even though we die, one day we will rise from the dead.
